Restored Walnut Mid Century Free Standing Wall Unit with Custom Inlaid Art

Plant stand, bar cabinet, bookshelf, or all of the above - the possibilities are endless with this lush walnut wall unit with adjustable shelving and sensible design! You can use the light fixture to display your most treasured knick knacks or repurpose it to a grow light for your plants.

The richness of the walnut is amplified with our signature finish, giving it a beautiful sheen when caught in the sunlight. Giving this piece even more character, there is the cabinet door with a rattan lining complimenting the warmth of the piece and the more subtle features of the drawer faces highlighting nature's design of enchanting tree rings with charming button-esque drawer handles.

To repair the top of this piece, we decided to ask a local Philadelphia artist to design and burn an illustration into a wood block which we patched in. Dani Garcia is an illustrator working in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Through pyrography they explore playful conversation with wooden surfaces, using repetitive, meditative marks to form whimsical objects and characters. This patch is slightly proud of the top (an aesthetic choice, but also a functional one to avoid damage from any spills to the rest of the top) and can be removed if necessary. We’d also like to note the butterfly patch repair above the artwork done in maple.

Restored by us to emphasize the natural character of the wood grain. Some minor wear and tear from its age may remain.
