While modern in form and geometries, there is a hint of the rococo in details such as the burl wood door faces, the sculpted brass handles, and the turned legs. A style we like to call Baroque Modern, and pervasive among Italian designs, adept as they are at integrating the varying lineages of style into a coherent whole.
