An unusual combo of features make this walnut console by Lane a standout piece; a top-open cedar-lined chest is adjoined to a cabinet with removable record dividers. While we are unsure as to why there was such a need for blanket-vinyl LP adjacency, there are conceivably many uses for an attractive credenza in a home that requires multiple storage methods. Angular and daring without seeming arrogant or over-the-top, it has the type of attitude that ages well. A visually unified, attractive piece.
The lock mechanism has been disabled for safety compliance, and the chest is in excellent condition, with minimal wear.
